The Theme day session at IBC this year is going to concentrate on 
Copyright issues
       Copyright - or right to copy? Are present regulations 
dysfunctional?

and not the wider issues of metadata, content identification , search 
and so on. As I
indicated at the time, the committee was still deciding on the programme 
contents and
they felt that regulation is the 'hot topic' for 2007.

Of course, it does not stop Kendra holding an event in Amsterdam that is 
timed to coincide
with IBC, perhaps on the same day as the session above? If you like, I 
can see what the
