1. DIGITAL HOLLYWOOD EUROPE REPORT

DHE was great fun. We had ten participants on the Kendra stand. We made
loads of new contacts. We should do it more and more. If you know of media
events where Kendra could be given a stand and speaking slots then let us
know - you'll be surprised at how keen organisers are to gift us a stand.

Use Kendra to get into events! Look at events we're targeting, add your own
events and help liaise with the organisers:

The DCIA P2P session was great fun too. We were all agreeing about the need
for open protocols within the content marketplace:

2. TV OVER NET - DANIEL TALKS - FREE AND 25% DISCOUNT FOR CONFERENCE

5000 people are expected at the exhibition. We have stand number 2 kindly
provided by the organisers. We have free access to the conference for
Kendra stand volunteers - contact Singh Gurbir
<gurbir at gurbir dot co dot uk> if you are interested in a tour of stand
duty. For those who want to pay we have 25% discount for Kendra
participants and let me know.

We are also planning on holding a Kendra meeting and press conference
around the time of this event. If you are interested in attending then drop
me a line.

We are looking to produce a brochure insert to be given to exhibition
punters and conference delegates. If you want to get your company and
products/services in front of 6000 people then talk to us about
sponsorship.

"The TV Over Net conference will feature international content providers,
ISPs and broadcasters including Google, BSkyB, ITV Local, NTL & Vividas. It
will share in the combined networking area with both the IPTV World Forum
and The Connected Home with over 150 companies exhibiting. With over 300
visitors anticipated, the TV Over Net conference is dedicated to this
emerging platform and will investigate the impact that broadcast-quality
streaming TV and VOD over broadband will have on content and channel
owners, classic Pay TV content aggregators and platform operators."

3. UPGRADE KENDRA WEBSITE TO DRUPAL CMS

We need to update and develop the Kendra Initiative website. We need to
make it a whole lot easier to collaborate and post information. We need to
make it look a whole lot prettier and add some multilingual pages too. We
need RSS feeds and a nice clean CSS. We need a full content management
system. So, over the coming months we'll be investigating porting the
website, wiki, forums, etc over to Drupal.

If you know Drupal and can help in the project then join us on the Kendra
Developers mailing list and on the wiki:

"The IPTV World Forum is to set a new standard this year as it doubles in
size once again. Now in its third year, the IPTV World Forum will be held
over all 3 floors of the Olympia Conference Centre in London on March 5th
â?? 7th and will be co hosting the simultaneous Connected Home, and TV Over
Net conferences. We are anticipating over 5000 visitors, and will host in
excess of 150 exhibitors. The conference will feature over 30 worldwide
telcos & ISPs discussing IPTV service deployment issues including
Telefonica, PCCW, Belgacom, BT, SaskTel, Deutsche Telekom AG/T-Com,
Telstra, T-Online France, NetCologne, Telekom Austria, Fastweb, BSkyB,
