1. KENDRA SEARCHES FOR CELEBRITY SPEAKERS FOR W3C 2006 CONFERENCE

The W3C was founded by Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who invented the Web. The W3C's
annual conference is being held in the UK for the first time in 2006. It's
going to be very special. We are looking for celebrity speakers from the
media industry to come and talk to the Web's guardians. You can help. Are
you a celebrity speaker in the media industry? Or do you have the ear of a
celebrity speaker? Either way, get in touch. You can see more details
here:

2. MUSICIANS UNION INVITE KENDRA TO TACKLE UNAUTHORISED FILE SHARING

Last month a number of Kendra Participants met with the Musicians Union
after being invited to come and explain what Kendra is all about. An
exceptionally good meeting was had. We've now been invited to tackle the
problem of unauthorised file sharing in the next issue of their quarterly
journal. You can help and find out more here:

3. KENDRA 13TH SEPTEMBER MEETING FOLLOW UP

A lively meeting ensued last month in London. We had participants Skyping
in. We had Richard Schave on iChat direct from Hollywood. We covered much
ground. You can find the meeting's minutes here:

Special commendation must go to Desiree Miloshevic who, prevented from
joining us in the flesh due to being injured on her transit to the meeting,
still came in over the wires - now, that's dedication for you. Many thanks
to David Berry of Charles Russell Solicitors for providing us with a
magnificent venue once again - also a special thanks to him for buying
everybody lunch at Wagamama! ;-)

4. BIG THANKS TO...
