Top of the new year to you! I hope recovery has been swift and you are now

Parliament Channel to join Kendra Network Trial
-----------------------------------------------

You may remember a call for compelling live video content to run over the 
Kendra Network Trial. Well, our man, Philip Haggar of Westminster Digital, 
has kindly agreed to donate The Parliament Channel for use on the Kendra 
Network Trial. We will be distributing this feed (multicast style) amongst 
our ISP and CDN trial participants. We are all very excited by this and 
will be giving out more details as soon as we have them. 


Amsterdam Hilton for Kendra gathering 20/02
-------------------------------------------

The Kendra Initiative will be having a gathering on Tuesday 20/02/2001 in 
Amsterdam. Early evening start around 17:30. Expect presentation and 
discussion. The meeting will be free to all. More details will follow. 

We are looking for a someone to sponsor the food, so let us know. IIR 
Conferences are kindly donating the venue for the meeting at the Amsterdam 
Hilton as they have their Content Delivery Summit running there all that 
week. The Summit is sure to be an interesting event and there's a discount

Email discussion lists coming soon

The email discussion lists are taking a bit longer than anticipated but 
they will be with us soon. So, hang on in there! 


December meeting minutes up on website

All the minutes for the last Kendra meeting (held on Friday 01/12/2000) are 
now up on the website. There is audio there too! Once again, many thanks to 
City University and Atlantic for sponsoring the event and to all those that
