[kNews] Meeting Thanks and Trial Content...

Dear All,

Much thanks to those that came to the Kendra meeting on Friday 1st Dec. 
Also, special thanks to Atlantic and City University for sponsoring the 
event and to Hardy for talking about Bertelsmann. 

As expected, it was a vibrant occasion and I can safely say that lots of 
learning took place. To those of you that couldn't make it, you're in luck. 
The event was recorded on to DV and MiniDisc. We hope to have these up on 
the website in the next few weeks with the minutes. 

Clearly, we need email discussion lists to get Kendra Participants talking 
over the issues without the constraints of geography, time or the transport 
system. These will be set up in the next few weeks. They will be opt-in 
from your admin area. 

We are now looking for compelling live video content to run over the Kendra 
Network Trial. For example, a 24 hour news feed would be great. We will 
distribute this feed (multicast style) amongst our ISP and CDN trial 
participants. If you are interested in donating a live feed to the trial 
then let me know.
