I totally agree this is a crowded space. And "praised be" because  
there is much work to do in this area and it seems that no one  
organisation can do it alone. We are all filling in the bits that

Would you count Grancenote as one of these companies? I was asked to

I'd be interested in your comments on comparing Kendra Signposts and  
the CDDB. It turns out there are strong differences.

Absolutely. Also, there are countless initiatives with no cash in  
their pockets. What these lack in finances they make up with  
dedication, persistence and downright gall.

All of these initiatives (big or small, loaded or skint) add to  
melting pot and bring richness to the issues and solutions.

If you can show that Kendra is only duplicating the work of any other  
organisation or even that there are organisations that have the same  
goals as Kendra Initiative then I would be very interested to hear  
about them. I know that what we do is crossing over with other  
organisations in part and vice versa - and that is a very good thing  
- we're back each other up.
