Re: [kGen] Kendra's description... your comments?..
Dear Daniel and all!
hope you are well
I met you and the Kendra lot on a boat in London a million of years ago
I have seen your posts around, and on the w3 list - readem with interest
glad that we are all sticking around
Now the problem that I ahve with Kendra statement, is that since I have
been on this list, maybe 6 years now, the system has been in the works
wouldnt it be nice to have a collaboration wiki, and some source code to
look at?
where is the system design? where s the model?
Just to say that in all these years I hae bcome pretty good at building
systems, and I d love to look at what we've got before putting more
efforts into words
gimme something !
thank you, for your contibued effort!
see you soon

I want to update Kendra's description ever so slightly and put an
emphasis on the fact that we are actually building the system rather
than just "investigating" it. Tomorrow the W3C will send out a press
release to the media industry regarding WWW2006 and Kendra will be
featured. So, a few yays, nays and other ways would be useful my
friends. Give me your comments to:

Kendra Initiative is a media and technology, academic and industry
alliance established to develop and promote an open marketplace for
digital media. Its goal is to simplify and streamline buying and
selling digital content by driving industry adoption of open
protocols, enabling interoperability between service providers, media
applications and devices - every link in the content value chain. A
system where consumers can use any device or application to browse,
search and purchase from the globally distributed collection of
content catalogues - driving increased reach and revenue for content
owners and a more pleasurable buying experience for consumers.

Many thanks for your continued time and effort...
Cheers Daniel
