[kGen] Speaker for IIR's IP Multicast event 21-23/01/2002 London...

Hi there All,

We have been asked to provide a speaker for IIR's IP Multicast event 
21-23/01/2002, Holiday Inn Victoria, London.

Getting a Kendra presentation together is a sinch. There's lots of material 
on the Kendra News page (PPT and video and audio) to get a better idea. 
Also, good to talk about how the project relates to you or your company. Go 
on, plug yourself, you deserve it!

If you are interested then please reply to this on the kGen list (and not 
to me directly) and you will get contact details. Need answer from someone 
by this Thursday 11/10.

By the way, the whole process of dealing with events needs to be highly 
automated and I don't see why event organisers can't just fill out a form 
on the website requesting speakers, cross promotion, etc. Also, 
kParticipants should be able to enter their bio's and company profiles on 
the website. Events are important for us getting the word out.

If you have ideas on how we can improve the website; make things more open; 
automate more tasks; then post them too kDev for discussion.
