[kGen] Meeting: Venue, Agenda, Pre-meeting logistics meeting...
Hi there Donal (and All),
Venue:
Just had a peep in on HMS President last night. The ballroom looks great.
They've put in some big windows facing on to the river.
Agenda:
As we're getting quite a few people hitting the meeting invite page I've
added a generic agenda as a stopgap to getting a finalised agenda up there.
Please do take a look and post comments to kGen:

Pre-meeting:
Donal, in your "stepping up to the mark" email you mentioned having
meetings and conference calls to help sort out logistics. May I suggest you
hold a meeting early next week to bash out the agenda and any other
logistic items. I am available all next week but I recommend doing it the
earlier the better. I am flexible on place and time. Can you fix a
date/time/place and I'll let kParticipants know who have registered for the
meeting and, can you believe it, are not on kGen! ;-)
Please note I will be in Nice all of the week of Monday 15/10 and so not
available for meetings. I will be checking my email every day though.
Meeting invite text:
I just sent out the following to Streaming Media for inclusion (hopefully)
in their newsletter next Tuesday. Why not use it for all your own contacts?:
Kendra Initiative - Convergence Workshop Invitation:
Do you want convergence? Kendra Initiative is building an open platform for
content delivery facilitating revenue generation for content
owners/aggregators and service providers. Kendra Initiative invites you to
its forth all day meeting. On Monday 22/10/2001, in the Ballroom, HMS
President, central London. Register on the website, at no cost. Sponsored
by BlueArc. See:

Logistic points:
- Having a computer and projector are always handy for presentations and
writing up workshop results in real time. It worked very well in the first
meeting.
- Having a wireless mic was also good.
Cheers Daniel
