RE: [kGen] Conference Sponsorship - Kendra va au sud de la France...

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your comments on the conference sponsorship. So far, no support
has come through for the stand at The Broadband World conference in Cannes
this September. An 'Interneted PC' at the stand won't be possible unless
the connection fee can be covered. In terms of priorities, my feeling is
that we need as a minimum a professional poster, flyers, and a budget for
furniture for Kendra's stand presence to go ahead. For sponsorship to be
forthcoming, the stand design has to meet a certain standard.

>From your past Kendra exhibition experiences, what kind of a stand have you
set up, and what exactly is the 'trusty A4 composite poster'?

News from the conference organisers is that there are 300 participants
enrolled to the combined conferences of the Broadband World and Carriers
World. Last call for sponsorship from the Kendra participants - take the
opportunity now before Kendra becomes really big, and when sponsorship will
be much more expensive!

Regards,
John Oliver

You may want to prioritise the things that we need sponsorship for. I mean
what's most important?

Remember, the aim is to raise the awareness of Kendra Initiative and get
people to register for kNews. At base level this can be achieved by having
talkative people on the stand that can explain Kendra and demo the website
on an Interneted PC and take cards off the punters. If no funds are
forthcoming then the trusty A4 composite poster will have to do. At least
it will catch people's eyes! ;-)

Cheers Daniel
