looks like a good start.

When you present to the DTI,  I'd suggest making the fruits of the kendra
initiative available for other initiatives to use. ie A significant amount
of UK gov. support is going towards content creation. The kendra initiative
could provide the delivery vehicle for this content - once created.

I have been in talks with South West Regional Development Agency and the
Gov. Office for the South West (DTI) and there is a clear need for a Kendra
like delivery vehicle.

I would also suggest aiming a little higher. THe EU Commission is spending
16 billion euros over the next 4 years on various R&D activities under
Framework Programme 6. Kendra could fit very nicely into this.
