RE: [kFW] Needed: Collaborative systems for driving consensus...
Hi John and All,

Why is that then? I've been working on the Kendra project since early 1996
and it's still as relevant today as it was then or will be in 10 years (or
more) time. Could you expand on your thoughts here? And what it implies?

Cool. Please see my recent post on the payments side here:

Full on!

Surely, *voting* is something we do after we have *discussed* the *issues*,
yes? Perhaps voting should only take place when we fail to reach a
*consensus* via *discussion*, yes?
David Morris are Gordon Ross are gathering their answers to my many
questions in:
http://www.kendra.org.uk/lists/archive/k-framework/msg00031.html
http://www.kendra.org.uk/lists/archive/k-framework/msg00033.html
It will be interesting to see what they have to say.
Is it any coincidence that the subject of this thread is "Collaborative
systems for driving consensus". Right now our collaboration is via this
email discussion list. Please explain why this is not good enough?
The great thing about this list is that one contributes when one can and
how much they can. People are already committing a certain amount of time
and effort to this project. What they are happy with, I suppose.

I am confused and not sure at all about what you are voting for. There are
at least 3 proposals so far (from David Morris, Gordon Ross and Steve
Kennedy). Which proposal are you voting on? Please clarify.
This discussion list kFW was set up for the very purpose of creating the
framework for Kendra Initiative. In a sense you have already "voted"
yourself in by posting your ideas to this list. How does it not serve that
purpose?

Are we not already the core team? How would the "core team" you mention be
different from us on this kFW list?

Good points! And there are many others that need to be discussed...
