RE: [kFW] Needed: Collaborative systems for driving consensus...
Lisa,
Simple, have a collective self means test, this is how a lot of the
alternative medicine organizations I work with do it. They let you as the
entity decide how much you can afford and then you give it, if you can
afford more then you donate it, if you see something that requires funding
and you can afford it, then you fund it.
Sound too hippy? we could be back in the '60's if you look at what Kendra
is, maybe it's the 21st century hallucinogenic, but without the chemicals!
My example is http://www.tothillessences.co.uk/request.htm this is a very
very successful site and people who use it that can afford more than the
basic charge, pay more quite happily, which in turn helps those that are
less cash rich.

dear list
I however, am not sure if I'd come along - if I had to pay - i wonder if
many other not-much-money-in-their-pocket people would come.
I know I'm speaking from the content side - I'm just about sympathetic to
pay per view but paying to talk about pay per view would be a little hard.
but yes, there is that awful dictum/truth that people sit to attention if
they have to pay for it. but i'm not sure i like that one either.
anyway
have a peaceful weekend
