RE: [kDev] Serve Kendra Initiative!...

Hi,

So, I guess what we're saying is it doesn't matter what server hardware we run the website on just as long as it can run PHP and MySQL and we can give out root access (which is our major problem at the moment). Not having root access restricts our ability to modify the MySQL database and add other functionality that may be considered non-standard on the current shared server.

OK. So, we're saying get one server for website hosting for the moment, yes?

But it would be really handy to have a minimum specification for when we go out and ask a manufacturer to sponsor kI with the use of a server for kI's website hosting.

Minimum specification for server anyone?

Cheers Daniel
