[kDev] Meeting Tomorrow Night March 28th

Hi All,

There is a quick meeting tomorrow evening to discuss and progress the
proposed Parliament trial feed. The function of the meeting is to move
through the issues surrounding the distribution of the Parliament channel
feed as quickly as possible. Issues to be covered will be around Real Server
8 splitting and multicast possibilities for this material. Please be aware
that this is only one small part of the trial proposals but the most
immediate. The basic idea is to discuss how we can take the material offered
(ie Parliament Channel and possibly a range of other educational and arts
programming in the wings) and distribute as widely as possible whilst
exploring some of the current technology on offer. This will probably form
the groundwork for another more in depth meeting soon once we have agreed
some basic tech stategies for the short term. I will post some notes and
conclusions to this list after the meeting for comments and for those who
cannot attend.

The proposed venue is the 'Spitz Bar' which is 5 minutes walk from Liverpool
St station (rail or tube) in Spitalfields market. inpho.
