The Broadband Future WorkshopAgenda:
- Emerging interoperable content publishing and discovery technologies will create a dynamic and open marketplace.
- Consumers will find and purchase content where, when and how they want.
- How will content owners and service providers gain the competitive edge in this new flat world?
- What is the impact on current business models and strategic planning?
- This workshop will provide a vision presentation, a prototype demonstration and group discussion.
- demonstration of KendraBase prototype by Neil Harris (creator of Sohonet).
- making sense of W3C's semantic web - the evolution of the Internet - an overview.
- impact on current business models for mobile and broadband content providers.
- enable a dynamic and open content marketplace for all on mobile and broadband networks.
- address the lack of interoperability between various content distribution, digital rights and payment systems on mobile and broadband networks.
- enable users to find the content they are really looking for and purchase it seamlessly regards of intermediary channels.
